# Payment terms

Last updated 11 August 2026. These terms apply when you pay a claim being collected by us in Norway.

### 1. Who we are

Audun Collection AS, organisation number 937 848 293, Møllergata 6, 0179 Oslo (“Audun”, “we”), collects overdue monetary claims on behalf of creditors. These terms apply when you pay a claim being collected by us in Norway. The creditor in your case is identified in the letter or message you received and on your personal payment page.

### 2. What the payment covers

You are not purchasing goods or services from us. Your payment settles an existing claim that the creditor has instructed us to collect. The claim may consist of:

- the principal, which is the original amount you owe the creditor,

- late-payment interest under the Norwegian Late Payment Interest Act, and

- statutory collection costs under the Norwegian Debt Collection Act and associated regulations.

The amounts in your case are always itemised in the letter or message you received and on your personal payment page. You see the exact amount before authorising a payment.

### 3. Payment methods

You can pay through your bank using the account number and KID payment reference in the letter, through My Page, or through the payment page linked in your message. The payment page offers Vipps, card or direct bank payment; available methods may vary between cases. Our payment provider processes the payment, and card details never enter our systems. We do not charge an additional fee for your choice of payment method.

### 4. Completion and confirmation

A payment is considered completed when the amount has been credited to us. If you use the payment page, confirmation appears there when the payment is registered. Payment to us releases you from the claim to the same extent as payment directly to the creditor, under section 13 of the Norwegian Debt Collection Act. You do not have to pay twice.

### 5. Partial payments and allocation

If you have several claims with us, you choose which claim a voluntary payment covers. A payment made through a case’s payment link or KID reference is allocated to that case. If you want a different allocation, contact [hello@audun.co](mailto:hello@audun.co) before paying so we can find a solution together. Within a claim, payments normally cover collection costs first, then interest, and finally principal. You can always request a statement showing how your payments have been allocated.

### 6. Failed payments, refunds and overpayments

If your bank or payment provider rejects a payment, it is not considered completed and the case continues as before. If you overpay, or pay a claim that is subsequently withdrawn, we refund the amount to the account or card used for payment where possible, or otherwise to an account you provide. You can also contact [hello@audun.co](mailto:hello@audun.co) to have your refund dealt with promptly.

### 7. Right of withdrawal

The Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act concerns purchases of goods and services through distance selling. Paying an existing claim is not such a purchase, so there is no right of withdrawal for the payment itself. Incorrect payments and overpayments are handled under section 6, and objections to the claim under section 8.

### 8. Disputing a claim

If you believe a claim is incorrect, for example because it has already been paid, the amount is wrong or the claim is not yours, contact us as soon as possible, preferably in writing at [hello@audun.co](mailto:hello@audun.co). Explain what you believe is wrong so we can investigate and respond.

### 9. Complaints

You can complain to us if you disagree with how we have handled your case. Consumers can also complain to [Finansklagenemnda](https://www.finkn.no/), the Norwegian Financial Services Complaints Board, about the debt collection company’s handling of their case.

### 10. Privacy

Our [privacy statement](https://audun.co/no/personvern/) explains how we process personal data.

### 11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
